Mapic 2019 is setting up shop in Cannes 13 - 15 November

Mapic 2019 is setting up shop in Cannes.

The best international retail property market

With 2,000 representatives of international retail brands and 2,200 commercial property owners, MAPIC is the leading international leasing platform. As a transactional market place, MAPIC provides retailers with access to a selection of the best international retail spaces and partners to break into strategic markets.

Organised by Reed MIDEM, the International Retail Real Estate Market will be held in Cannes from 13th to 15th November. A Leisure Day devoted to leisure activities will be organised for the first time on 12th November, the day before MAPIC, to further explore this significant market trend.

Retailers can adopt widely differing international development strategies, either operating directly on their own or by using local partners that are well established in target markets. MAPIC meets these needs by providing an exhibition area for major developers of retail spaces in city centres, shopping centres and transit areas. It also provides access to a selection of strategic local partners who seldom appear together at the same event. The Multi-unit Franchise Summit will be held on November 13 at 11h30 at Hôtel Majestic.

Prestige ‘Forum France’ Line-up at MAPIC 2019
Jointly organised with the Conseil National des Centres Commerciaux (National Shopping Centre Council – CNCC), the first Forum France will be held on Thursday, 14th November (11am-1pm) and will comprise three parts.

 First part
For the opening of Forum France, a panel of CEOs will highlight the new business models that fashion brands need to adopt to boost their business in the face of changing consumer trends. This conference will provide an opportunity for three retailers to confront three developers and discuss each other’s expectations.

Second part
Julien GOUBAULT, Director of Communication at Klépierre, Delphine BEER-GABEL, Strategy Advisor with The Retailtainment Company, and Isabelle MUSNIK, Founder and Content Director, INfluencia will provide a short transition to explain the importance of retailtainment in shopping centres and present a white paper produced in partnership with Influencia.

Third part
Finally, a third panel of speakers will discuss the evolution of consumer expectations and the shift from shopping to lifestyle destinations.
