Europe’s largest in-water boat show
An unmissable event for stakeholders and enthusiasts of French and international yachting, the Yachting Festival brings together the world’s most beautiful boats in Cannes from 10th to 15th September, extending from one end of the Croisette to the other and throughout Vieux Port and Port Canto. While they are genuine technological gems, the vessels, from mass produced small boats to mega yachts, are also real objects of design and architecture. From the conception of the hull to the interior decoration, the design requires unique expertise adapted to the constraints of the sea.
Over 600 boats will be exhibited this year, with more than 120 new products making their world debuts. The Yachting Festival is an exceptional setting playing host to the world’s most spectacular yachts and sailing boats. It enables everyone, sea lovers, yachting fans, seasoned visitors and those who are simply curious, to discover a magical world, all in an idyllic setting, the emblem of the French Riviera
New this year : a brand new “Sailing Space” in Port Canto
The Yachting Festival will be present on three new quays of Port Canto: the Quai d’Honneur, the Quai de la Roseraie and the Quai Ouest, taking over nearly 1,000 additional linear metres to present in-water boats, alongside nearly 4,000 m2 for on-land stands. These quays will host the brand new “Sailing Space”, reserved for new monohulls and multihulls sailing boats measuring more than 10 metres.
For the first time, a magnificent motorised “boat house” will be berthed in Port Canto, the new setting for the most beautiful sailing boats. An innovative concept, this wonderful and exclusive apartment-terrace measures over 20 metres long with a surface area of 270 m2. As comfortable as a penthouse on land, but offering idyllic living conditions, this concept by Rev House Sea is the height of luxury and relaxation. It will house the VIP Club and a Champagne bar.
Port Canto will continue to host the Brokerage Space, with about fifty boats, dedicated to second-hand boats over 22 metres long available for sale or lease, and the Toys Space, which will bring together the latest innovations in nautical toys.
In the heart of Palais des Festivals, the Luxury Gallery
Location of elegance with its dinghies at the entrance, as well as its equipment manufacturers and high-end service companies, the Palais des Festivals hosts the Luxury Gallery, a space dedicated to the unique excellence, expertise, craftsmanship and lifestyle of renowned and more exclusive brands. Thanks to the Luxury Gallery, the Yachting Festival confirms its position in the world of non-nautical luxury.
5th edition of The Concours d’Élégance
The 5th edition will take place on Saturday 14 September at 4 pm on the Festival beach at the Vieux Port. A unique selection of day-boats – motorboats without cabins – up to 12 metres, with their captains at the helm accompanied by their elegant crews, will parade under the admiring eyes of enthusiasts and the more watchful ones of a jury of experts.
The boats will be divided into two categories : those built before 1980 and those built after 1980.
After the parade, the jury will unveil the list of winners. New this year, spectators will be able to vote for the “Coup de Coeur du public” live from the beach from their smartphones.
The participation to the Concours d’Élégance is open to show exhibitors and collector owners. Registration is free on the Yachting Festival website.
The visitors of the show are invited to attend the parade from the Festival Beach.
