A Silver Dolphin for the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes.


The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès has been awarded a Silver Dolphin for the Cannes 360 application, at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards held on Thursday 27 September at the Palm Beach.

Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards is the festival that rewards the best corporate films. Since its creation in 2010, its organizers have been keen to associate Cannes with their project, organizing prizegiving ceremonies and days for exchanges in this town. This year, the 9th edition included almost 1100 video productions from 47 countries. A record for this event with its international jury comprising audio-visual professionals (producers, directors, communications agency managers, etc.).

The production of the now award-winning Cannes 360 application by local start-up “Films 06” for the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès confirms the town’s positioning as a city for creativity and audio-visual media. Cannes 360 is an application intended for events organizers, allowing the town and its famous sites to be visited by way of 360-degree videos. The aim of such a tool is to offer the user a practical, informative and entertaining immersive visit.

The Palais des Festivals had already made a date with success with this first participation, as its digital communication strategy and innovative audio-visual projects aim to boost the destination’s drawing power.
