Four days of meetings in Cannes to do business and figure out new trends
From 2 to 5 December, the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes is hosting the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM). Since its creation, this professional trade faire organized in Cannes has continued to grow and has today established itself as the reference global business-to-business event, attracting the biggest international decision-makers in luxury tourism. The biggest names in hotels, resorts and private islands, organizers of authentic experiences and gastronomic pleasures, cruise operators and even luxury transport providers meet up to seduce specialist travellers and tour operators in this continuously high-growth sector. It is also the opportunity to figure out new trends in this extremely high-growth market.
Main event for the luxury travel business-to-business industry
With 4000 participants (purchasers, exhibitors, concierge service providers, luxury accommodation providers, etc.), the ILTM represents the biggest concentration of luxury travel professionals in the world. This professional trade fair also brings the hotels most representative of the luxury market, certain tourist offices, plus yachts and limousines together with the main luxury travel agencies and tour operators. As a result, these days allow for making contact and fixing business meetings for all participants and the major players in luxury hotels and catering. It should be noted that the ILTM is also held in Singapore, Cape Town, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Dubai and Riviera Maya.
Promoting Cannes as a destination
Again this year, Cannes will have its own stand, with its own area for promoting the town’s many assets in terms of luxury tourism, in particular with hotel partners such as the Five Seas Hotel *****, Radisson Blu 1835 Hôtel & Thalasso ***** or even Molinard Créateur Parfumeur and the Palm Beach Cannes.
It should be noted that the Deauville tourist office will also be present beside the one from the Town of Cannes, within the framework of the partnership between the two towns. Cinema, golf, well-being, luxury hotels, exceptional coastline and natural heritage, etc... these are just some of the common assets the two destinations will have their hearts set on defending.
