After New York, Snapchat chooses Cannes to advertise its camera-glasses, the famous Spectacles!

On the side-lines of the Cannes Lions, International Festival of Creativity, Snapchat has pulled off a marketing coup and is flying its flag high, a few days after releasing the Spectacles in France.

A ferris wheel has been set up on the sea front, very close to the famous red carpet in the Palais des Festivals, much to the delight of the residents of Cannes and the 15,000 visitors to the Cannes Lions Festival!

The attraction has not gone unnoticed, and acts as an original poster backdrop, like the app which currently has 166 Million active users each day!

And the icing on the cake, or rather the sweet on the red carpet, is that you get a free lolly on leaving the attraction!
