From April 26th to 28th, 1st Cannes Porsche Festival

1st Cannes Porsche Festival.

A premiere in Cannes !

The 1st Cannes Porsche Festival, organized by the Porsche Club Méditerranée, is coming to the Palais des Festivals and to the town as a whole on 26 to 28 April 2019. The event aims to bring together all the European clubs and lovers of the famous brand, as well rare and unique models : exclusive or launch models. The organizer, Porsche Club Méditerranée (PCM) is the biggest official Porsche owners club in France (over 700 owners). Its Chairman, Jean-Paul VIALA and his team have been down this road already, having been in charge of the Porsche Paradise in Saint Tropez (mid-October) for the last 25 years.

A top-class and fun event

The town of Cannes is launching this car festival for the first time at the end of April. This is a major event that matches one of the images of Cannes : luxury and sporty. There is a twofold aim for the destination : offering a unique gathering for a famous car brand, to a wide audience of enthusiasts and experts and those who are simply curious and generating a flow of visitors at the end of April for a weekend that is likely to extend into May Day week. All the town’s socio-professionals and partners are swinging into action to welcome visitors and Porschists in the best of settings and give them the desire to come back under the palm trees on La Croisette every year, in ever greater numbers. During this weekend, numerous vehicles (approximately 320 around the Palais and 300 in the town) will be on show to visitors (1200 expected participants).

A three-day meeting for everyone

This 1st festival showcases all Porsche models, and will be open to the general public. A partner and artist village will be on offer, with an official store for the brand. In partnership with Groupe Segond’s Porsche d’Antibes centre, the new generation 911 will be presented and may be test-driven.
