The Tax-Free World Exhibition, the international meeting for the duty-free industry, is setting up in Cannes.

The annual international meeting for the duty-free industry 

TFWA is the annual international meeting for the duty-free industry. This event, unique in the world, will take place from 29 September to 4 October this year, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes. This international trade fair will offer a tailor-made programme for the representatives of the largest brands in the luxury industry. Meetings based on conferences and workshops, where experiences, ideas and business are shared and created every October at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. 
True to its reputation of attracting the speakers who have shaped our world, this edition will put the spotlight on former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, who will share his thoughts on the current global situation. A major player on the geopolitical scene, he will offer participants fascinating information on the current issues of today.

The Exhibition’s Beach Village

The Exhibition’s Beach Village has been extended with two new marquee zones. The additional space will comprise over 500 confirmed exhibitors, 65 of which are new or returning after a break. Here are a few of the new brands and those that are returning: Shanghai Tang and Havaianas (fashion and accessories), Zino Davidoff (jewellery and watches), La Colline and Ren Clean Skincare (perfumes and cosmetics), Korea Ginseng Corporation (sweets and gastronomy), RHA (electronic products), Al Fakher and Juul (Tobacco). 

TFWA Innovation Lab

From 1 to 4 October, the fair is hosting the TFWA Innovation Lab in a marquee located opposite the Majestic beach. This new initiative brings together some thirty specialists in digital solutions and mobile technologies, in sustainability and CSR, in traveller services and in “in-store design and research”. 

The work programme begins on Sunday

With activities such as yoga lessons on the roof (offered by Rituals), sailing (sponsored by Paul & Shark), a visit to the International Perfume Museum in Grasse (sponsored by Dior) and golf (in partnership with Qatar Duty Free and sponsored by Dr Irena Eris, Interparfums and Furla).
