First international festival celebrating rosé wines
Over the last 10 years, worldwide production and consumption of Rosé wine have grown by 16% and 20% respectively, while in 2014, rosé wines accounted for more than 10% of trade on the wine market. The Pink Rosé Festival therefore takes its place as the event that had been missing in the calendar, playing host to key buyers in the international rosé market. By bringing together industry players, the festival aims to highlight the potential, facilitate opportunities and explore the latest developments in the market and gain a better understanding of the specific characteristics of the different customers, both now and in the future.
Personalised and targeted meetings
From 7 to 9 February, the Pink Rosé Festival offers personalised and targeted appointments with importers around the world. It's a modern and dynamic concept which reinterprets the wine trade show and brings together a large international community of wine professionals, all passionate about their business. These targeted 30-minute appointments with buyers operating in the geographic area or wine producers looking to grow are organised in advance by the festival team.
Pink Rosé Festival Awards
The highlight of the event, the Pink Rosé Festival Award ceremony will take place on the stage of the Théâtre Debussy in the Palais des Festivals and the Congress of Cannes and will celebrate the pairing of a rosé and a specific dish. Chefs from the 5-star hotels on La Croisette will create dishes for the occasion and the judges -including oenologists and wine professionals- will blind taste the rosé wines which have been paired with the dish by the wine producer.
Masterclass, Tasting Zone and Networking
Also on the programme Tasting sessions led by the expert sommeliers for buyers and free tastings of rosé wines from all the wine producers by visitors as well as many more unstructured networking opportunities.
